A leaf falls
is caught
by breezes
and falls again
burled round
at times -
pirouette
of whirling dervish;
light casts shadows -
they knit together
a hammock
on to which
the leaf falls -
the dance is now
a slow waltz
cloud covers the sun
hammock fades
leaf falls
and lands
an open hand
on a cushion of moss
bejewelled
with the tears
of the tree
from which it fell.

having been there at the time of the falling leaf (leaves) i love this, it absoloutely captures the essence of the experience for me, thank you
